EDITORIAL DISCLAIMER :

BEWARE OF THE "SCHEMINGS" AROUND YOUR OFFICE.

Every powerful new idea goes through a certain phase. Because new ideas provoke change. There are those who resist because it is unfamiliar .That is perfectly normal . CATEGORY ONE.

There are however the "thieves", idea plagiarists,  innovation killers who hide in darkness. Their aim ?  Challenge. And when they can't .Copy.  and when that fails . Kill The Idea.   Those are CATEGORY TWO.

So in the wake of the launch of this great magazine WOMEN IN FINANCE and its and its revolutionary antecedent THE ANNUAL NATIONAL AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN FINANCE ,category twos have been exposed.  And their cheap operational programme is tbeing brought to the knowledge of our many cherished readers around the country.

In desperation here is what they have resorted to.

1.Physically following your  WIF MAGAZINE TEAM  around town like boy scouts to find out who is advertising and which institutions are subscribing. Then :

2.They hurriedly recruit insiders –unsuspecting staff – as 'bad mouthers' from within.

Meanwhile they recruit some of your drivers to drive your precious company cars around, wasting company fuel to parade in front of our offices to show fake solidarity with their cause.

We will be sending you tube links to some of these hilarious videos with their faces soon !

A great idea is like a popular peoples revolution. No matter how the establishment 'tries to suppress it , it grows stronger, spreads faster and gains momentum. Why ? The loyalty of the footsoldiers.

For the entire WOMEN N FINANCE PROJECT its honored shareholders are YOU – our cherished  readers. You who know how masculine and sometimes chauvinistic your finance working environment is and how you have longed to have a voice to vent  and a  prestigious face to represent your unique space.

A voice that supports your struggle in today's competitive workplace,  like a ladder propping you up to climb upwards though the glass ceiling to the heights of finance industry leadership like the Pat Akyianus, Nilla Selormeys, Abiola Bawuahs, Pearl Esua Mensahs, Jackie Benyis and Angella Leibels have done.

Your constant words of encouragement to our staff when they visit you, your warmth and enthusiasm with which you graced and made lively the nations first ever AWARDS NIGHT innovatively crafted to celebrate your own unique achievements as women in finance is always appreciated.

You and this great magazine are making history together. Identify and single out CATEGORY TWO’s in and around your offices and among your staff and drown them out with only one chorus: SHAME.

SHAME for trying to derail a good idea. Shame for not supporting a brilliant , pioneering WOMENS  CAREER ADVANCEMENT  initiative.  Shame for failing.

The Women In Finance Magazine has come to stay. The Annual National Women In Finance Awards has come to birth and prevailed.

Call your friends to call their friends. Feel It. Enjoy the fresh breath of air in the industry..

The New Revolution for Ghana’s hardworking Women In Finance is finally here.
