WIF Award Past Winners Club Activities

 

After the successful 2015 Awards event, it was decided to re-invogorate WIF AWARD WINNERS Alumni Club which will absorb all past winners.

 

OBJECTIVES

 

  • To organise and bring together all past nominees and winners of WIF Awards.

  • To foster togetherness among all past laureats of the Awards as members of one family.

  • To orientate Wif Laureats  and promote the need to contribute to the development of their Alma mater through the Club after their honors.

  • To provide an opportunity for the Alumni Association to promote its advocacy for women in the sector through the institution and make positive contributions towards the total development of their fellow women in the finance community

  • To defend, protect and intervene in issues that negatively impact on the image of the institution, past winners and staff of the institution.

 

MEMBERSHIPS:

 

Membership to the Laureats Club is categorized as:

 

  • Platinum Membership: All past Award Laureats who have committed to making consistent financial or in kind contributions, on a monthly basis for an indefinite period of time.

 

  • Gold Membership : A gold membership status shall be conferred on all past Award Laureats who have committed to making consistent financial or in kind contributions as and when they can. 

 

  • Honorary Membership: An honorary status shall be conferred on someone who does not qualify as Alumni but has contributed tremendously towards the development of the Wif Magazine and Awards. Such a status shall be conferred officially at any WIF AWARDS CEREMONY.

 

 

ACTIVITIES & PROJECTS OF THE PAST WINNERS CLUB

 

1.0 Multi Purpose Printing Press
The proposed the establishment of a multi-purpose printing press to lift the burden of printing cost on the WIF MAGAZINE publishers and also provide printing services to alumni when needed.

 

This project has began and work has since been on-going on the project.


It is requested that WIF AWARD Laureats members will buy into this noble idea and contribute both in cash and in kind so that the project can be completed on time.

 

 

2.0 WIF AWARDS OFFICE COMPLEX AND SECRETARIAT

 

The proposed the establishment of a mordern and multi-purpose Wome In FiNANCE Awards and Magazine Complex to maintain and further lift the respectable image of this prestigious Awards internationally.

 

This project has began and work has since been on-going on the project.


It is requested that WIF AWARD Laureats members will buy into this noble idea and contribute both in cash and in kind so that the project can be completed on time.

3.0 Alumni Activities

 

3.1 Forum and Alumni Lectures

 

As a way of contributing to national dialogues, whipping up members’ interest in activities of the Alumni and the WIF AWARDS as a whole, the WIF Laureats Club organizes Annual Lectures for members and the general public on the sidelines of the Annual Womens Finance Fair .This serves as a platform where old friends and colleagues meet to exchange pleasantries and also as an avenue to discuss and contribute to national female economic empowerment issues.


As a way of co-ordinating the activities of the Association within the frame work of the Awards Strategic Vision, there is an Alumni Relations Officer.
